Whether Assessee was liable for Tax audit for F.Y. 2014-15

and Whether Assessee is liable for Tax audit for F.Y. 2016-17

asesee is a trust

As assessee is a Trust TDS is required to be dedcuted

For F.Y. : 2014-15 : Amount of Interest is be paid @ 1.5% p.a. and late return filing fees (if returns are filed make addition of challan and revise the returns)

For F.Y. : 2015-16 : Amount of Interest is be paid @ 1.5% p.a. and late return filing fees (if returns are filed make addition of challan and revise the returns)

For F.Y. : 2016-17 : Amount of Interest is be paid @ 1.5% p.a. and late return filing fees (if returns are filed make addition of challan and revise the returns)

(other points like filing of return , audit of accounts, comments of auditor's are not considered)

I think TDS not to be deducted for rent paid upto 180000 p.a !
If TDS deducted but not paid then 1% will be the penalty and if tds not deducted and not deposited then 1.5 % !!
I request yot to correct me if my opinion is wrong !!
