Quick Summary
This discussion explores the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) liability when a company purchases shares of an unlisted private limited company from resident individuals. While the general consensus is that TDS is not typically applicable in such transactions, as they are not conducted through recognised stock exchanges, further clarification might be needed depending on specific circumstances. The intention is to hold the investment long-term.

Tds is not applicable
