Hello people,
On filing my TDS, what should be the value for "Details of receipt as mentioned in form 26as" in ITR4. As per a thread, this amount is the total amount paid to me by the employer. But after putting that value, i am getting an error.
"Tds on other than salary invalid character input"
I dont have any useless character in the form except for the ones that conme in the email id. Do you know what might be the issue.

Kindly check your company name in TDS dedcution column might be it' having special charcter such as "- @ $# &* removed those then check again...

No, it has been checked there is no special character, rahther it has been auto filled as & when TDS deducted. No manual entry.....
I have been filing the return with out any issue from last 5 years......
Please help.
