tds on electricity charges ??? never heard yet ......... might be tcs will be applicable if it is cross 50 lac's .......... but not sure ..............

Yes, TDS will be deductible u/s 194Q if your turnover in PY is above 10 crores, and your electricity bill exceeds Rs. 50 lacs in the current year
TDS not applicable for electricity charges. And TCS also not applicable.

TDS is not applicable on an electricity bill,
Because it is treated as sales, not a service is given by an Electricity company.
So TDS is not applicable to this transaction.
