YES , the BPO industry should deduct tds on internet bandwith payment if falls under 194c or 194j sec.
No need to deduct tax at source. Internet Bandwith dont attract TDS provisions either under 194C or under 194J. 194 C has specified a set of contract types on which Tax has to be deducted. Also in a leading case of Skycell Telecom company, the Court has held that such service is no a technical service to come under purview of 194J. So, tax has not to be deducted.
no need of deduct tds on brandwith because this is not a contract and this is not a specific profissional
