TDS on fixed deposit.
I am a salaried taxpayer and I transferred Rs.600000/-into the account of my son of age 22 yrs. through cheque and then fixed. As he has no income, whether the tds already deducted is refundable or not?. Thanks.

Are you talking about TDS on fixed deposit in son's name or TDS on your salary amount.
TDS on fixed deposit in your son's name - Refundable yes ( if he has no other source of income)
TDS on your salary amount - Refundable - No
FD in the son's name.pls.write about the itr by which the return may be claimed.
