Tds not deducted
I am doin my ipcc. n I came across some questions in d practice manual where in some places d though tds s not deducted d interest is not disallowed..the reason given that sec44AB doesn't apply hence sec40(a)(ia) doesn't apply too. but in a few other questions sec44AB s totally ignored. what should I do?

Hi Priyanka,
Kindly check if the assessee is individual or company. In case of individual payers tax is to be deducted if they are covered by 44AB; otherwise not.
