Tds more than acutal salary paid

My employer paid me salary monthly but for resignation I had to deposit my money equivalaent to 2 months salary.When contacted the FO of the institue told to take refund from finance section as TDS allready deposited. Kindly suggest as what shall I do

file ROI and claim refund or you can claim TDS amount from your employer and ask them to file revised etds statement
