Tds implication on employee group insurance premium

Hi

 

My company paid group insurance premium for the health insurance and life insurance premium. This is for policy taken on group level on the name on company. Can somebody please guide me on applicabilty of TDS for this transaction.

Hi Mr. Himanshu,

 

Payment made towards group insurances for employees, company cannot deduct TDS on that amount. 100% expense can be claim.
