Tds for fy17 deposited under incorrect challan- demand notice

Can someone please guide me. I had received a notice from Income tax stating i have not paid the tax and on checking H&R block said that the tax was remitted under wrong Major and Minor head. A appeal was made to the appelate autjority who reverted saying they cannot correcta. a fresh application was then re-submitted to which there has been no response and now i have got another email notice with a demand to pay the same. What should i do?
