Can you tell to me which one is Excemption certificate number format? Because we have received TDS Exemption certificate from our vendor but the certificate number showing below format.
1234AC123E and 197/PAN no /2013-14/7.
We have filied tds return with this exemption certificate number for lower deduction. but it not reflect in retun. we have received shot deduction default notice.
i am having the same problem put only 2013-14/7 in return

The exemption ceritifacate number must be 1234AC123E. check it.

1. Singe Certificate - Anyone can easily identify certificate number 1234AC123E
2. Multi Certuficate in single certificate - Dont consider Ref. Number. Please check 2 nd column , certificate no.
