TDS does not reflect in 26AS for the current year

If you've raised an invoice in the current financial year but received payment in the next, the TDS deducted at the time of payment won't appear in your current year's Form 26AS. This can lead to issues when claiming TDS credit. The solution is to declare the TDS in the year it was accrued, not when it was deducted, when filling your Income Tax Return (ITR). The new Annual Information Statement (AIS) is replacing Form 26AS.
