I have erroneously put incorrect dates of payment to landlord in my original TDS return. Due to this it looks like, there is a delay in deduction of TDS. Now i have recd demand notice from dept asking for Interest for this. My query is:
1, How to rectify this?
2. I tried filing correction TDS return online, but return is getting rejected and it says "error in upload type". Original return was filed online.
