Dear all

I have filled tds return q4 13-14 . in which in challan details wrongly mentioned one challan number and amount...

Now i have got notice from the department for short payment as challan is overbooked ....i filled correction but it was rejected ...and reason showing ...."challan details in correction do not match for some of the non updatable matched challan columns"...

Please help me how i can correct the challan....

this comment is sometime given when some details of challan are matched but while filing correction even those matched detail are corrected... check in your return what details have been updated.

thanks for reply...there is no change made after correction ..the previous challan no. and amount showing in return....

problem is how to change overbooked challan details..?

please help....

delete deductee records for overbooked challans.... since option to delete has been removed, you can update deductee details and enter 0.00 in amt paid and tds deducted and the entry is deemed to be deleted.
