Please advice me on following issue :
We have received TDS default notice for F.Y.2007-08.
Due to some reasons we are unable to find TDS statements due to which we are unable to generate TDS justification report.
is there any other way to generate justification report? OR
Can we move to department asking about details?

Use digital Signature to download the same..
1. Register Digiatl Signature in TRACES.
2. First Download the justfication report whatever the year (Depends up on details you have in that quarter).
3. Next put a request for Justification report for FY 2007-08. Now you need not give the challan details & PAN details. Automatiocally request accepted.
4. Even if you got justification un available message. You can ask to A.O only.
