Will an employer need to deduct TDS on salary which is less than 2.5 lacs annually but the total income of employee after adding income from rent and other income is above 2.5 lacs but below 5 lacs?

After considering rebate u/s. 87A of IT act, TDS is not deductible.
Any other income should be reported to the employer . Still Tds is not applicable.
