Tds deducted on my rd amount

TDS 391 views 4 replies

I am paying Rs.10000 to my RD(Recurring Deposit) account since Oct 2014 on monthly basis. TDS is deducted on amount which I have paid in the month of Mar 2016 from my RD account.

But the amount paid to RD account is already calucated with TDS by my employer. What should i do to return the amount which was deducted from RD account?

whether u gave your pan detail to your bank or not . if u gave then u will file your return for claiming refund

Sir,

PAN details are not linked with bank account. Can u please share me the process after linking PAN details with bank.

I mean should I get any certificate from Bank or statement is enough for filing returns

TDS can not be decuted on principal deposited,

bank is entitled to deduct TDS on interest accured.

offer your pan card to bank for linking with your bank a/c(s) and ask them to issue TDS certificate mentioning your pan number, this will reflect in your 26AS and you will be eligible to claim refund of TDS after filing ITR

TDS @ 10% IS DEDUCTIBLE ON THE INTEREST INCOME OF RD. FURNISH YOUR PAN CARD TO THE BANK.
