Quick Summary
As a government contractor, if TDS has been deducted from your payments but isn't appearing in your Form 26AS, there's a clear process to follow. The issue often lies with the deductor either not depositing the TDS with the government or failing to file the TDS return. To resolve this, you should formally write to the highest authority, such as the Chief Accountant, detailing the problem. Remember to keep a copy of your letter for your records and diligently follow up on your request.

Please check TDS deducted from you deposited with GOVT account or not and filed TDS return .
