Tds deducted after death

I want to know that my grandmother died in may18 but TDs was deducted by the bank after  death till december18 in her name. So can I show income upto may 18 in her return and balance income in my return as legal heir from June to dec18 and also I want to know how to claim full tds from April to dec18 as tds was deducted after her death by bank.

Yes, you can.

There is option in ITR utility to give credit of TDS deducted to third person.

You have to register yourself as legal heir of your grandmother then only you can file her return as legal representative.

Hi Sir.... I am also facing the same issue. I think the provision in ITR to give credit of TDS deducted to third person is allowed under Rule 37BA(2) which require a declaration to be filed to the decductor for change. However, banks do not change. How should I proceed further in the case....I am really confused. Is there any other way. Please advise.
