Dear Members, If assessee files its TDS return as NIL return i.e. without challan and deductee details, what is the procedure to revise the same. TRACES requires atleast one PAN-AMOUNT validation. In such a case, what could be the possible way to download the statement so that it can be revised. TRACES has rejected if a normal statement is filed again.

Best is to File with one Deductee Record with a valid Pan number and as for salary and other details can go Blank, make sure that other statutory details of organization are clearly mentioned in your Software wihch could be seen in your consolidated file as well.....

Hi Rohit,
If you go into traces site, when it is asking for the challan and PAN details, you can opt for Nil return option which will be available over the challan column details.
If you have paid some amount but not provided any valid PAN, then you can select the "No VALID PAN is provided in the return above the PAN columns".
check both the icons if you have not provided any details in the return.
