Tds applicability
Hello there,
I have a sole properitorship firm. I send payment of 85000 per month to a contractor in another state for salary of employees. Do I have to deduct in any tds on this?

salary for whose employee? your or contractor's employees
Basically I send money to a person and in return he hire employees and provide office etc.. They are not exactly my employee, it's more of a contract.
it should be treated as payment made to contractor tds applicable as contract
Is tds applicable to people who do not have to get books audited?
TDS provisions does not apply to those individuals who are not subject to mandatory tax audit.
