Dear all
is it compulsory to deduct tds when I am making provision in the books of the expense.
TDS is compulsory in case of transfer to suspense A/c or payable one but is it also when making provision.

The simple rule may be taken as: if you are booking an expense for Income Tax purpose or you are making payment then you need to deduct TDS
Does making provision of expense regard it as an expense booked
