i m question to you ppl is there now tds is applicable on service tax??if no it/s fine thank you or if yes is there any special type of services tax on which tds is applicable??& my second question do we have to pay service tax on tranport serivec direclty to govt ??or all service tax which levied on bills by the clients is payable to govt ??or to the clients??if you know answer to this qustion or any reference will do.so plzz do the need full yaar your friend.....

01.TDS has to be deducted on All kind of service tax at regular rate of TDS
02.Only in case of GTA ( Goods Transport Agent ) you are required to pay the ST if GTA has mentioned the liability to pay the servicetax by Consignor consignee specifically in its bill
