Hello Friends,

I am IPCC student apearing for May2010, but the institute has sent me the Taxation book for the last assessment year which is not for my syllabus. So now I need the book for the A.Y. 2010-11 what should I do Friends??

As per my knowladge institute gives old books not as per the assessment year , you have to update yourself with recent changes in provision .As friend i m telling u go through singhania ..

Taxation ke liye inst. ke stydymat par depend mat rho koi other author ki book khrido.

As far as I know, I've been teaching students and relying on the study material provided by ICAI for CA exams especially in taxation paper is not sufficient. You can pick up a book of a good author with multi questions solved with good permutation, combinations. As per my knowledge Girish Ahuja and Singhania are good. Follow any one done mix everything together. Because following one author will get you accoustomed to kind of language and the studying will go faster and in a particular pattern.

Solve all questions from there. Also so solve last few years papers.

If you can concentrate for more time in this paper, you can choose Vinod K Singhania which is best for thorough and deep knowledge. If you want from exam point of view, you can choose Paduka publications - G.Sekar.
