Quick Summary
If you're receiving rent for a property that isn't in your name, you generally cannot declare it under 'Income from House Property'. Instead, this income should be reported under 'Income From Other Sources' (IFOS). You may need to provide details about why you received the rental amount and what happened to the funds.

No, it has to be declared u/h. IFOS.

No .....u can show in IFOS
There is Another clause in ifos
@ Akshat,

Why You received the rental amount...?
Is there any reason...?
Is that amount transfer to any others or landlord...?

Give details of that transaction...???
