Taxability on recurring deposit maturity
does maturity of recurring deposit taxable? in which section? does it make any difference between bank recurring deposit & post office recurring deposit?

Taxable in INCOME FROM OTHER SOURCES
It is taxable and some banks deduct tds while others dont. Both Post office and bank are taxable under income from other sources
