Taxability of agriculturalist engaged in trading

An agriculturalist sells his own output and also engages in trading of similar product by purchasing it
from other farmers. Whether he is liable to get registered if the aggregate TO of trading business exceeds 20lakhs? If yes will he be eligible to claim exemption for the sale of products cultivated by him and pay tax on traded goods alone?

According to me yes registration is to be taken but you have to figure out that whether the product you are selling is exempt from gst or not if its exempt then you have no need to pay gst on trading part also, since you are talking about agriculture product so most of them are exempt from GST

thanks 😀 the products are subject to gst.
