i have this query as to the taxability of the actors and all those in the film industry...???
when the actors receive the income from directors....is here nt contract of service and therefore taxability under the head salary or it will be under the head business and profession..???
There are more of profession then salary. They are just providing there servises for work. Howe can you asay that there is contrct so there should have salary ??? Every contract can not said to be of Salary.

That will come under the Head Income from Business or Profession. There is no relationship between the director and actor like Employer and Employee relation ship. So, Income of actors fall under the head Income from Business or profession.
