Tax Return..Acknowledgement how to get

Easiest way is to e verify with Aadhar opt or through net banking.

Once e-veified, no need to send anything to Bangalore, within 120 days.

Wait, you will get acknowledgement...

1. Go to the Income Tax India website Visit https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and log in.
2. Log in with your User id (PAN number) and password.
3. Select the 'View Returns/ Forms' option in the drop-down and tap 'Submit'
4. Click on the acknowledgment number to download your ITR-V. You could also choose to e-verify your income tax return. To e-verify, select the option 'Click here to view your returns pending for verification.
5. Under 'Downloads/Status Descripttion', select 'ITR-V/Acknowledgement' to begin the download.
6. After downloading, print, sign and send this document to CPC Bangalore within 120 days from the date ofe-filing. Address and instructions here.

Actually, email did not come, as return was filed on 31 Dec. Now systems do not permit anything online/ offline download. Thus caught on wrong path

You can download the acknowledgment from the Income Tax portal. 

Go to My return> Income Tax Return> View filed returns. Here you will find a recept of the return filed for AY 2021-22.
