Tax refund denied due to incorrect bank account details

Is this possible to get the refund in any other way (without filing revised returns)

Log in to your efiling account

Goto grievance 

Give  correct account number with IFSC code and name of  Bank under Refunds.

You will get a reply within 3 days  what to do further.

If you have filed online and you have a cpc reference number and DIN, you can login to efiling and do it online

Just try following

efiling-->accounts-->refund re-issue request--> give assesment year, Communication no and refund sequence number  and then validate

Just tell me what comes after that --> whether it asks for revised bank details

1. in account option choose view e-filled return/forms

2. select income tax return

3. select acknowldgment no.

4. you will see below picture and choose submit rectification request option in refund status

You can login to your account and submit a refund re-issue request with correct bank account. No need to file revised return.
