Yes, there is no special savings, but female got more quantom of basic exemption compare to male. (i.e)
Male basic exemption limit is Rs. 1,50,000/-
Female basic exemption limit is Rs. 1,80,000/- for the financial year 2008-2009.

There is no tax planning for women & man separetely.only tax slab is different from men.exemption limit of women is 1,80,000 whereas men 1,50,000/-

The treatment of income from business head is same for both.
