As per Press Release dated 6-10-2017, small taxpayers would be required to file returns and pay taxes on quarterly basis from 3rd quarter 2017-18. Now as per Press Release dated 10-11-2017, Form 3B will continue to be filed till March 2018. Does this mean that tax will be paid on monthly basis only?

Sir, the Council itself is contradicting. Most of the assesses are under wrong impression that returns will be filed quarterly alongwith tax payment. It would have been better if the minister or secretary could have cleared this in the press conference only.

Sir, elections are now in Gujrat only. In any case, the Govt. could have relieved small taxpayers from monthly tax deposit. The details of GSTR-1, 2 and 3, in any case would be prepared by the accounting poeple and not the businessmen. Government itself promoting ambuigty and making it difficult for the professionals for better compliance.
Yes, but the actions are taken so hurriedly (to please vote bank), that its concequences are not properly thought of.
