I have left my organization in the month of April-23. Salary for the april will be credited next month with full and final settlement.
Can anyone pl help me to learn how the tax deduction work here as this is starting of the year.
As of now I am not going to do any job for next few months .
Since you left your employment in April 2023, the tax for April month salary and final settlement will be calculated as afresh as this year's Income (FY 2023-24). Accordingly, TDS will be deducted as per provisions of Income Tax Act, 1961.
