tax deduction regarding arrear amount

I got my arrear amount in 2018-2019 financial year.but this arrear amount is the salary of 2017-2018 financial year.I want to know how& when the income tax calculate regarding the above arrear case.

You can offer to tax the salary during filling of ITR for AY 2018-19. (i.e. FY 2017-18).
