I have bought a laptop worth 30000..The dealer told me that i can claim a income tax deduction claim as education cess by placing the receipt form ...Is is true???If yes how???

Your education cess point is not cleared... Deduction for computer is not available under chapter VI-A, however if you are engaged in business/profession, you can claim depreciation on it.
i am working in a gov enterprise...that means i will not get the tax deducting benefit for buying this pc??
