Tax credit mismatch
I have filled the ITR by claiming TDS of AY 2015-16 in AY 2016-17 as I have offered the respective income to tax in AY 2016-17. However CPC has raised demand against me without considering the brought forward credit of previous year AY 2015-16.

You can claim A.Y.2015-16 credit only if you have filed return for that year & select option to c/f TDS to next year.
YOU HAVE NOT FILED ITR PROPERLY
