My ITR status for assessment year 2020-2021 is showing the status 'tax credit matching process'. What does it mean?
We thoroughly checked the TDS claimed etc, with 26AS, there is no error over there.

Check if there change in details of challan of tax paid or any other details.
If there is no error then apply for rectification

When return was filed?
There is no order yet...so we cant file for rectification....The status only is showing like that.... It was filed in Sept20
Before processing of return tax credit matching is done. wait for some time It will be processed.
If your return didn't process then how status is showing tax credit mismatch.
It's not tax credit mismatch. it's 'tax credit matching process'. if u see any processed return, u will come to know that tax credit matching process is one of the step before processing of return.
