Tax audit extension

Yes. There should be no deadline for tax audits. A date should be defined, say 30 September and if return is filed after that date, interest @ 24% per annum on daily basis may be charged till 31 Dec. If the return is not filed even till 31 Dec, then penalty may be levied. This will help we professionals to live a better life as work can be spread.

Of course, should be extended

IT IS VERY NECESSARY TO EXTEND THE DATE OF TAX AUDIT,  KINDLY LET US KNOW , WHETHER WE SHOULD COMPLY THE COMPLIANCE OF  THE REQUIREMENT OF G S T OR TAX AUDIT.

Definitely extended and proper tax calendar and timelines should be worked out so that dates dont clash, else we will be turned into an army of data processors.
