Please advise turnover for applicability of Tax audit for the F.Y 2016-17.

if your turnover exceeds 1 crores or if your turn over is below 1 crores and your total income is less than 8% then 44ab is mandatory

A minor addition to prev answer. In second case if u declare 8% or above audit is not necessary.
