TAN SURRENDER PROCESS
If a TAN has been allotted to me and I wanted to Surrender the same. What could be the process?

Hand over a letter stating reason for cancellation to the TDS AO. I gave a letter a year ago, it's still active. Please ensure there are no demands and unconsumed challans before submitting cancellation request
