We are registered Delaer under TN VAT ( Manufactureres ) . We have engaged contrctors for laying pipelines for Air and Steam also Elctrical control panels . Total Contract awarded to one person . Should we deduct WCT as TDS . Whether we have to get separate registration for WCT . Please help us .

No seperate registration required, but TDS u/s. 194C would be applicable above threshold limit.
Check with the state VAT department, if TDS required to be deducted, under TIN, over works contract. If yes, its threshold limit & percentage.

Yes you should deduct the WCT and remitt to the respective circle. And no separate registration required.
