Sir/ Madam,
In my company we are giving food to our employees through Canteen ,on Contract Basis .
The Contractor charging VAT on their Bills.
My query is What % they should charge?
Whether we can avail Input VAT benefit?
if so please give me some reference.
INput VAT is not possible.
Similar case is available in magazine/publication
where Printer charge VAT; but
the publisher of magazine can't claim INPUT VAT because magazine is exempted in VAT
There are 17 such items available, where clarification is required.
