Tally Sound mute

just off the sound yar.

if ur using laptop then make sound mute from ur keyboard

i use to here songs while doing work in tally 9. When i enter a voucher then a beep sound generated. In tally 4.5 there was a option to mute the sound. but in tally 9 i am not able to find the option to mute the sound. are you aware about this.

Please find Tally folder in C drive / D drive etc. and find tally (notepad file)

You seen parameters of tally file

last line is colour  = yes
 please copy above line and enter 2 times

then paste and modify ------Sound (Colour)   = No (Yes)

Do as follows to mute the sound

gateway of tally > F12 > General > Other options > Tally alert using beeps = No

and then save it

you will hear that sound after the above.

Don't answer without knowledge. everybody know to switchoof speaker.

this will not work in tally 9 R 2.4

Open tally config file (file name is : tally.ini)

Then inset the following word:

Sound = No

wirte this word (Sound = No) in below from Color = Yes.
