How to pass the tally entry in XYZ institute accounts
-->for Government Scholarship given to student through the institute
--> For Example
1. Govt. Given account payee chq. For Rs. 15000 to the institute XYZ .
for distributing 5000 to A, 5000 to B and 5000 to C
Plz. Help.
In Tally the entry in the books of Institute, following needs to be passed.
When scholarship money received:
Bank A/c Dr. 15,000
To Scholarship A/c 15,000 (create this under the head current liabilities in Tally)
When the money is given to A,B and C.
Scholarship A/c Dr. 15,000
To A's A/c 5,000
To B's A/c 5,000
To C's A/c 5,000
