Yeah, It i is very easy to change that ledger name of that particular ledger and so all the entries already made will be use with your required Ledger.

can we use tally 7.2 for accounts of co-operative society plz reply

hi

goto gateway of tally....

then select account

then alter

then ledger

then select the ledger name you want to alter

rename it

end hit enter till screen is saved

thats it..

To alter you have to select Alter instead of Create option. & Since you have all ledger in same group you can alter in one go.

Yes, you can use very much. But in Tally.ERP9 latest release you can generate Receipts & Payments report, where as its not possible in earlier versions.

rename ledger......

go to ledger alteration and rename it.   direct alter karne ke liye ledger name par jakar ctrl+enter ..
