tally 9. gold

 v r  using Tally 7 and v had continued the year in the same file eg.  in one individual name for last 6 years accounts are there say 2005, -2011 so now when we conver the files in to tally 9 gold  we are getting error so pls adv whether  there is any way we can shift to tally 9 by continuing with earlier practice of one individual name with many years account in the same.

Also, what are good features in tally 9 compare to tally 7 majorly if you know.
