If you have give IPCC twice then I don't think it is advisable for you to change your route.
As we all know that if you get new registration then new syllabus will be applicable(May 18 first attempt) and it will not be beneficial for you to migrate from old to new syllabus.Because you have already studied IPCC in new syllabus all the subject are modified and updated according to industry requirement. And If you change your registration you have to study it from the beginning which will result in waste of time only
