Swtich over to new syllabus of icwai

I had been registered under Old syllabus of ICWAI but never appeared for any exam since then. No i have been issued De novo registration number (New Registration, as Old one has been expired), Now i want to know that as per ICWAI rules, students swtiching over from old to new syllabus, need not to undergo practicle training of 3 years which is mandatory under new syllabus, Am i covered under the same rules? Or do i need to undergo 3 three years of practicle training......

Please advise.
