I supply goods from my one branch to another branch in same state without consideration.
1. is GST payable?
2. what documents are required to supply said goods if gst is not payable?

Quick Summary
Both the branches are register under GST or not ?.
Only main branch is registered. goods are supplied from registered branch to unregistered branch in same state.
Intra state supply from one branch to another is not chargeable to GST.
documents required are delivery challan & e-way bill ( if stock value is more than Rs. 50,000 )
Why Schedule 1 (2) of the CGST act 2017 not applicable here ?. Inter branch transfer .
1. GST is not applicable..as your second branch is within a State and not separately Registered..
2. Documents required for Trasfer are delivery challan ( e-way bill, if stock value is more than limit as per State, as it's intra State movement)
Schedule 1(2) is not applicable as second branch is unregistered and within state, can't considered as distinct person.
