call once to regional office...check the postal status the material might be returned in ur absence.. confirm receipt of application if u sent via regd. post check the delivery status.

Ya   n dont mail  on institute ID u'll loose ur time only....

N definitely u will not receive material just cancel that DD n send fresh app n DD but first of all inquire in post office about ur Reg. Post

satvir according to me u need to get ur studymaterial urself frm icai

they vl give u a receipt which u need to present to take books of cpt

I Received my SM after 20 days of Sending the Form.

And Registeration letter after 25 day..

So ,no worries,wait for some more time..

It takes time. ICAI is an autonomous body but still have the "sarkari" blood running through their system :(

I was in panic b'coz one student in our colony told me that he got it in 10 days and panic increased when I came to know that draft hasn't been encashed.

i posted my letter on july 12 , 2008 and i got my books on some date in august or september.

so dont get paniced , contacy the post office and ICAI and then take any steps.

Can't we get the material straight away when you submit the application in person at ICAI?

Can we get the subject material without applying for CPT?

if u submit ur form personaly at ICAI u vl get study material then n there itself

n u cn nt get study material wdout being applying fr CPT..
